When and where will the SSPX pilgrimage for the Jubilee take place?
The Society of Saint Pius X will gather in Rome, internationally, on August 20, 2025, at 9:30 AM, at the Colle Oppio Park (Colosseum area).
What is the schedule for the day?
The day will begin with the recitation of the Rosary at Colle Oppio, followed by a solemn Mass, celebrated at 9:30 AM in the same location. After Mass, a picnic lunch will be held on-site. In the afternoon, at 2:00 PM, the procession will begin towards St. John Lateran, where participants will enter through the Holy Door.
Is registration required to participate in the pilgrimage?
For security reasons, those wishing to participate on August 20 must register using a dedicated form. Registration will allow:
- To purchase a ticket for the packed lunch
- To formalize one’s presence, facilitating the organization of security services
- To pass through the Holy Door of the Basilica at the end of the procession
How to register for the pilgrimage?
Registrations will open in the spring, and details will be provided later. Please note that subscribing to the newsletter on the website www.iubilaeumfsspx.org does not count as registration for the pilgrimage.
Is there a fee to pay for the pilgrimage?
Yes, a small registration fee will need to be paid at the time of registration. Those who wish can also purchase a ticket for the lunch. Additionally, anyone who wants to help cover the organization costs can make a donation by clicking here.
Which nationalities will participate?
Groups from over 25 countries around the world are expected to participate, consisting of laypeople, priests, religious brothers, and sisters.
Is the SSPX organizing other activities besides the one on August 20?
The French District of the SSPX is organizing visits and activities for August 19 and 21. More information can be found on the dedicated website.
