Solemn procession from Castel Sant’Angelo to St. Peter’s in Rome.
Last Thursday morning, the pilgrims met at 10:30 a.m. at Castel Sant’Angelo for a solemn procession.

The procession was presided over by the Superior General of the Priestly Society of St. Pius X, Don Davide Pagliarani. Throughout the journey, everyone’s gaze remained fixed on the destination, St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

“St. Peter!” The principal church, the seat of Christianity, the church of the Pope, the tomb of the Prince of the Apostles, the largest church in the entire world, where millions of people enter and leave as if it were their paternal house

“You will return because it is the law of Rome, the law of pilgrimages to Rome. It is a need for every soul who has tasted Rome, as you have tasted it, as all those who have spent years in Rome have tasted it, and who, like you, have become familiar with all that there is in Rome: the most Christian, the most Catholic, the holiest, let’s say it, the most divine. You will return to Rome”
(Pius XI, Address to the French Seminary; Doctrinal and Spiritual Dossier of the Jubilee in Rome 2025).
