The Eucharistic Crusade delegation at the Jubilee

On 20 August 2025, Crusaders from several districts will gather in uniform to take part in the Jubilee Mass and procession of the Society of Saint Pius X.

Join the great Eucharistic Crusade in Rome!

What is a Jubilee?

The Jubilee of the Holy Year is a year-long celebration. Catholics come to Rome from all over the world to show their love for the Church. In Rome, the Church allows them to receive a plenary indulgence every time they enter a major basilica by complying with all the conditions. Jubilees only occur every 25 years.

Why join the Crusaders?

For the first time since the birth of the Society of St Pius X, the Crusaders will be meeting in uniform at the time of the great gatherings of the faithful from all over the world.

The Jubilee Pilgrimage is a testimony to the life that exists in Tradition. This gathering is therefore specially dedicated to children, in the noble and joyful spirit of the Eucharistic Crusade: praying for the sanctification of children and the needs of the Church.

The Crusaders will be in the front row to attend the solemn Mass, pray in procession behind the priests and seminarians and receive the Indulgence as they enter the basilica. This is an exceptional opportunity!

What will the Crusaders be doing on 20 August?

The Crusaders will take part in all the ceremonies organised by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X on 20 August.

Wednesday 20 August

08:30: Gathering

09:00: Rosary

09:30: Solemn Mass at Colle Oppio (garden near the Colosseum)

12.30 pm: picnic on site 14:00: Procession to the Basilica of St John Lateran, entry into the Basilica and recitation of the Jubilee Prayers.

Who organises the Crusaders?

The Chaplain General of the Eucharistic Crusade has specially asked a team of priests and faithful to plan everything the Crusaders will need for their great Jubilee meeting. In each district, adults are preparing to welcome all the registered Crusaders to Rome.

The Chaplain General’s team is working with the Jubilee management to ensure that the Crusaders have wonderful memories of this exceptional opportunity in their lives!

What will the Crusaders do at the Jubilee?

What will a Jubilee Crusade day be like?

At the end of the Jubilee Prayer, the parents leave with their children, following the instructions given in advance.

In practical terms, how do I get involved?

Registration

Safety instructions

When the child is registered, the parents will be contacted by a delegation leader who will provide the information needed to prepare the child properly: meeting points, name of the group leader, check of the registration file.
